Successful Conclusion to the Shanghai Journey — Xinda Talc Heads Home With Fruitful Gains!

The three‑day‑long 2026 China International Coatings Expo has come to an end, marking the successful completion of Xinda Talc’s Shanghai trip. With in‑depth discussions at the Asia‑Pacific Industry Summit and face‑to‑face communications with industry clients at the coatings expo booth, we adopted a dual‑track strategy in Shanghai and returned home laden with industry recognition and cooperation intentions.

## 01 Dual‑Event Collaboration, Demonstrating Core Strength of Fillers

Two major industry events were covered simultaneously during this Shanghai visit:

At the pre‑held Asia‑Pacific International Coatings Industry Development Conference, General Manager Yu Shikai delivered a keynote speech, thoroughly analyzing the global talc resource landscape and existing pain points of coatings fillers, and presenting a complete set of technical solutions for titanium dioxide replacement and high‑barrier functional talc.

Meanwhile, offline exhibitions were launched at the coatings expo. Theoretical outcomes from the speech and laboratory test data were intuitively displayed through physical samples. Our self‑developed research achievements concerning talc’s capability to inhibit titanium dioxide agglomeration and optimize paint film performance were brought to the front line of the industry, realizing two‑way interaction between academic sharing and practical application.

## 02 High‑traffic Exhibition Booth and Fruitful Business Negotiations

A constant stream of visitors came to our booth throughout the three‑day exhibition. Complete samples of four types of talc products specially for coatings as well as paint film test panels were fully displayed, attracting numerous coatings enterprises for in‑depth exchanges.

### One‑on‑one On‑site Service

Our on‑site R&D team provided one‑on‑one technical docking services. We formulated titanium dioxide reduction schemes based on clients’ existing coating systems, matched suitable talc grades, optimized dosage ratios, and offered free samples and complete formula references.

A large number of manufacturers registered for samples on‑site and reached preliminary cooperation intentions in four sectors: industrial architectural coatings, interior latex paint, marine heavy‑duty anti‑corrosion coatings, and titanium dioxide replacement. Supported by experimental data on flaky talc isolating titanium dioxide and restraining agglomeration, we effectively solved common pain points including titanium dioxide agglomeration, slurry sedimentation and rising raw‑material costs, winning high recognition from numerous engineers and procurement managers.

## 03 Summarizing Industry Demands to Fuel New‑product R&D

Three days of face‑to‑face communications helped us collect a wealth of practical front‑line pain‑points in coatings production, including mounting pressure from titanium dioxide price hikes, paint film pockmarks, coating delamination during storage and insufficient weather resistance of heavy‑duty anti‑corrosion coatings.

In the follow‑up stage, our R&D team will optimize the formulation of the four series of talc products in light of client demands collected at this expo. Leveraging our self‑owned mine resources with reserves of tens of millions of tons, we will develop functional powder materials with higher cost‑performance suitable for the full range of coatings, providing stable, cost‑reducing filler alternatives for more enterprises.

We would like to express our gratitude to all industry leaders, new and existing clients and industry peers who visited our booth. The three‑day‑long in‑depth exchanges brought us trust and fresh ideas. While the Shanghai trip has drawn to a close, our journey of cooperation continues. Clients unable to attend the exhibition may consult us online for product samples and formula solutions at any time. Relying on our full‑industrial‑chain advantages, Xinda Talc will always support the high‑quality and green development of the coatings industry.

END
