Haicheng Chengxiang Mineral Products Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Xinda Talc Group, was established in 2000. The group has two mines located in the main vein of southern Liaoning, with a mining area of 1700000 square meters, complete licenses, and 50 years of use. The proven reserves are 12 million tons, which can be mined for 60 years, and it has nearly 260 employees. The automation rate of mining equipment exceeds 80%, producing products such as sliding stones, with high whiteness, good purity, and no asbestos heavy metals, making it widely used.
The first mining area of Chengxiang Mine adopts underground mining and caving mining methods, with flat and blind inclined shaft development, and a large angle conveyor belt (784 meters long, the first research and development and use in the talc industry, which improves efficiency, safety, and saves manpower); The main project of the second mining area adopts a joint development method of vertical shaft, adit and blind inclined shaft.
The mine has established six safety systems that comply with national standards to ensure the safety of underground personnel. In recent years, steel support and anchor rod spraying support have been adopted to improve the support strength and employee safety factor.
Chengxiang Mining actively implements President Xi Jinping's call for green development. In recent years, the mining area has been vigorously managed, with 21000 square meters of construction houses, 18000 square meters of field hardening, 1200 meters of road hardening, 520 meters of corridors, and more than 30 acres of green reclamation. The ecological environment has been improved to ensure sustainable development. In November 2022, it was awarded the qualification of "Green Mine in Liaoning Province".
In 2025, Chengxiang mine plans to build a new modern standard shaft in the third mining area and support advanced mining and transportation equipment to improve the transportation and mining capacity, so as to achieve safer, automated and intelligent mining.
