Underground mining in the first mining area of Chengxiang Mine, using caving method for mining and developing through adit blind inclined shaft. There are six safety systems in place to ensure underground operations. Steel support for roadway support enhances strength and safety. Adopting a dual lifting system consisting of a winch and a large angle conveyor belt, the latter is the first to be developed in the talc industry, with high efficiency and good safety.
The monthly average production of Chengxiang Mine's first mining area is 9000 tons, with 130 workers working in shifts. The enclosed large factory building is a screening workshop. The talc ore is transported by conveyor belts and mining cars to double-layer automatic screens and linear reciprocating screens for screening, and then manually and water selected. There are more than 10 types of products in powder, ash, and green colors, with high whiteness, good purity, and no asbestos heavy metals. It has physical and chemical properties and is widely used.
